I have a question. One of our teachers has a team that she can't create channels. However I created Teams that I can create channels. Is there a type of Team that we can't or is it possible that our tenant took away the ability to create channels?
Marcia Daley-Savo

Hi Alana, we would like to know if a student who is a member of a team has the ability to delete an assignment a teacher has posted.

I am new to using TEAMS with classes; I have been using One Note for my classes. As a Business Teacher, I teach from 8-9 different courses in a year as some are half-year courses.

Hello! I would like to know how to streamline or organize my assignments by Units or Lesson groups.
Jen Palmerton
23:37
Since you were an elementary teacher so you think second graders could successfully complete an assignment in Teams? My students have only worked in Office365 Word. I normally filled the end of the year with different Microsoft programs.

If I am doing teams as a PLC, will this be beneficial for me?
Beth Jacobs
30:58
Will I be able to transfer ALL of the content from One Note over to TEAMS without tons of work? I am in my 33rd year of teaching...one more year to go next year retiring in June 2021. The thought of all the work to "start all over again"....
elyse amos

Pam Brock

I'm not sure where my focus should be - Teams, Schoology, OneNote - with students vs. grade level teams...

Help! I’m feeling anxious b/c I don’t know what you are talking about. You are referencing things I know nothing aobut

Wait what? Kids can share their screens with us? How?
Andy
36:38
you can easily get the notebook into teams. Just lick on the classroom note book on the teams page and follow the directions. It does take sometime to get everything in and then you get a message saying all the info is there.
nicolemarples
41:42
Do the assignments carry over year to year? So if we make an assignment this year, can we go to “from existing” for next year’s class?
ASteltermann
48:37
If they miss the deadline can you repost it for them?
alogan
49:18
You can only assign in General channel, correct?
Nicole Huntington
49:29
Can you attach a MS form to this assignment? I tried to create one today, but I was not able to add the resources - I had to add them as a link within the instructions.

Is there an easy way for us to search our own computer files for the resource. Like search for name? When I open the files they are a mish mash. They are not ordered.

What is your feeling on how an ENL teacher who co-teaches in several classes can post assignments? Should it be done from the Classroom teacher’s Teams?
ASteltermann
01:06:25
yeah, same question for CT sp.ed.
Nicole Huntington
01:09:06
One thing that we did was include the SPED teacher within the regular class team for support, but then she created a separate team for just the students with whom she provides services. Then the assignments that she creates for "workroom" are specifically disbursed to her caseload without overstepping the regular classroom.
Allison O'Connor
01:10:58
I am also a special ed teacher and I have my own channel in both my classes I co teach. But I have found that since I can't post assignments, the separate channel is actually confusing sometimes

Our district teachers began using Teams in grade level groups with teachers only first to get comfortable and then started using with students
