Can you confirm that audience for this meeting? Thank you!

Can the resource list also be sent out via email so we don’t have to wait for the recording to come back from Zoom to be posted on the DOE website?

i am interested in more detailed information around accessing Title IV funds - will there be additional funds as is the case for Title I that I heard would be about 85% of your normal Title I monies.

I tried to ask this last time and ran in to technical glitch (hitting enter mid-message making the message incomplete) am hopeful that you can offer a response - many of our providers are utilizing a hybrid approach to include virtual meetings (Zoom), Google Classroom, and detailed instructions for parentally directed activities ( or some combination thereof)Is this acceptable to account for IEP sessions?

23:35
Any guidance on ESY?

23:56
What guidance do you have for new IEPs that have occurred and implementing new goals or services
mikimcgee
24:18
Can you describe the MOE flexibility for use of flexible grant spending and impact for next year?
Rachel Borge
24:34
Is it permissible to continue to pay paraprofessional staff through the IDEA grant during remote learning?
Kim Di Salvo
24:39
If we ask parents for permission to email documents to them (and they agree), is this sufficient to email IEPs, progress reports, etc. as we cannot mail paper copies.
susanmerrell
25:05
I mean if we do not have signatures yet. For implementing goals and services

25:10
What is the state saying to parents and parent organizations about online learning?
kstaines
25:20
Many districts are moving to counting seat hours, thus finishing the school year before the 180 days. Can private providers do this without jeopardizing our daily rate? We have a daily rate but we also have annual tuition
Richard Sharp
25:39
Do you anticipate remote learning order will also be for summer programs?
Michele Munson

What about the 1:1 paras for behavioral students who are not needed as the child is home?
susanmerrell
27:29
Yes. My question about new IEPs- you held the Annual Review- team in agreement- no signatures. Do we wait to implement new services or goals until we get signatures in 5 weeks?
kstaines

Thank you

Have you been in contact with PIC and DRC in a spirit to collaborate?

we are a private provider and our 1 on 1 para educators are making daily contact with our students, for emotional and social support. Is this considered OK for IEP

anything new about ESS timelines? Struggling with some of these
Sherry Burbank
32:43
Did you mention anything about e-signatures? I had to step out for a moment
mikimcgee
33:11
Last week we heard varying recommendations around amending IEPs v. keeping the IEP as the recommended amount of services and writing a distance learning plan for students with disabilities.
Sherry Burbank
33:34
Thank you.
Kimberly
33:34
We are also struggling with ESS timelines. . . our ESS agency is saying that they have only done Curriculum Based Measures and it does not provide us the information we need for eligibility. What do we do in this case?
Sherry Burbank
34:10
@Kimberly, we are having that issue in Henniker as well
Nora Miller
34:30
More clarity needed on whether annual IEPs currently in development should be written as though schools were in session, and we had all resources available, or to write in the actual services that students are receiving during school closure. Shouldn’t we all be approaching this in a similar way?
mikimcgee
34:41
so as long as it is an individual team decision?
Sherry Burbank
36:33
The ESS issue was happening prior to the state of emergency

Can we by any chance get a simple agenda in the invitation. For example if I knew we were talking about best practices and ideas for learning, I would have prepared of it. Thank you

Has the Bureau provided any technical advisories based on the guidance you are mentioning or are you planning to? Example- how to handle referrals, etc.

FOR ESS, we are still held to POMS requirements but yet do not have the students available for one-to one testing. My understanding is that the new cover bill will be requesting more flexibility around eligibility guidelines. There has been information given to superintendents to advocate directly with our state legislators. Can we share this information with teachers?

Some of our families are receiving feedback from DOE reps that is somewhat more aggressive, can we work toward more consistent messaging? We are all working very hard to generate creative solutions to meeting student needs. Your messages and responses are definitely of a problem solving sort, but it seems that may not be consistent across all staff.
Jennifer Horne
41:02
The POMS concern is exactly part of our difficulty - how do we evaluate brand new 3 year olds that have started since the closure. We are still being held to the 3 year old timeline REGARDLESS of evaluations
Rachel Borge
41:38
I will. Thanks
sreinhardt
42:12
Jenn we are having the same issue and Early Intervention services seem unclear also as to what is expected

A document that compares/contrasts ESY and Comp Ed with descriptions and qualifications will be helpful. Folks are doing their best to plan for schools returning to brick/mortar instruction this summer and next year. Thx
jenn pomykato
44:06
That will be helpful as parents are hearing “comp ed” too and asking. thx Becky

It seems there were a couple of questions based on messaging with families and parent organizations. How can we support the state with this. I'm hearing the same as Rachel still figuring it out where it is coming from.
