could I make a suggestion that it would be nice if on the weekly statistics there could be information on the statistical breakdown related to deaths, such as is currently available on the weekly statistics chart relative to all cases diagnosed.

Do we think if we open back up schools this will increase the number of kiddos who get this new sickness?

Will we get something from them on this so that we can send it out to parents? It would be better coming from the experts than from each of us doing something different?

We have a small segment of our student population that is not engaged in remote learning, and the parents are ignoring all efforts for us to communicate with them and support them. Yet, we have been told that educational neglect reports will not be investigated. Commissioner - can you help change this? Of course we will not know of abuse/neglect if students/parents are not participating in any way.

I have heard feedback from counselors when they contact DCYF, that they are being encouraged to contact the police. Stating concerns being shared are not a DCYF issue. Admittedly a small sample size, but important local context.

With the CDC recommendations coming out for reopening schools, the bus recommendation seems impossible to follow (they recommend one student per seat, leaving every other seat empty). I can't imagine any district in NH has enough school busses (or drivers) to make this possible. Will we be required to follow all of the CDC recommendations to be able to open in the fall (including this one)?

Commissioner-The SBOE adopted an initial proposal for changes to ED 306.14- remote instruction at its meeting last Thursday. When will that amended initial proposal be shared with Superintendents and Principals? Thank you for any update that you can provide.

The Heath supplies requested refers to an email to obtain more information. Is the content of that email available anywhere on the Doe website?

Could we encourage the Governor to consider providing some CARES funds to school districts to cover the transportation costs we have incurred to cover bus drivers salaries? We were told that cares funds would cover this for us, but the title. 1 or 2 money we may be receiving will definitely not cover these costs. we have saved jobs and feel like districts need financial assistance for doing so. I spoke with Heather Murray; she directed me to you.

Do you know if the Wellness Workgroup of the STRRT would be willing to create a standardized statement to students concerning the safety of [hopefully] returning to school in the fall? For months parents have told [especially young] children the schools are not safe enough for them to attend. However, in the fall most students will be going back to the exact place that’s “too dangerous” as of right now. A comforting statement from experts in that area may be helpful.

Thoughts on amending transportation statutes / requirements during the pandemic? Would likely be a slippery equity issue, but if we’re not screening before students get on a bus, screening at the building level is likely too late.

Regarding summer programs, has there been any thought to regional restrictions rather than a state-wide blanket ruling on what is allowed and what will be restricted? It seems that certain areas of the state have relatively few COVID-19 cases and may be in a position to open sooner than other areas. Could NH implement their summer protocols in a way that is similar to other states that have both rural and more urban areas that are impacted differently?
Matora Fiorey
01:02:27
Will the survey for parents have questions about busing? More parents may be planning on driving students to school in the fall than in the past. That could alleviate some potential busing issues.

And if we are required to do temps for students before entering the building, and walkers come 1.5 miles and must be at "ambient" temperature for 10 minutes before temps are taken, where do we put them inside so that we can determine whether or not they can come in?
SAU44 Northwood
01:15:55
It is not the initial email for the PPE that people are not getting. It is the second email that let’s you know that your order is ready up. Showing up to pick up your masks without having that second email will result in you leaving the site empty handed (as I did)
