could I make a suggestion that it would be nice if on the weekly statistics there could be information on the statistical breakdown related to deaths, such as is currently available on the weekly statistics chart relative to all cases diagnosed.
thank you very much
Do we think if we open back up schools this will increase the number of kiddos who get this new sickness?
Will we get something from them on this so that we can send it out to parents? It would be better coming from the experts than from each of us doing something different?

Is the syndrome described the same as Kawasaki disease? https://www.childrenshospital.org/conditions-and-treatments/conditions/k/kawasaki-disease
That poll is hard to complete because we can’t say yes to all on #2!
I continue to ask this....
I placed an order online for the free masks. It said I would get a confirmation email for pickup. Never received any email.

Are the Personalized EBT cards per student or per family?

We have a small segment of our student population that is not engaged in remote learning, and the parents are ignoring all efforts for us to communicate with them and support them. Yet, we have been told that educational neglect reports will not be investigated. Commissioner - can you help change this? Of course we will not know of abuse/neglect if students/parents are not participating in any way.
it is there
I have heard feedback from counselors when they contact DCYF, that they are being encouraged to contact the police. Stating concerns being shared are not a DCYF issue. Admittedly a small sample size, but important local context.
share link to form please
We have also been encouraged to reach out to the police department - that is what we are doing now.
they are asking police to do wellness check
With the CDC recommendations coming out for reopening schools, the bus recommendation seems impossible to follow (they recommend one student per seat, leaving every other seat empty). I can't imagine any district in NH has enough school busses (or drivers) to make this possible. Will we be required to follow all of the CDC recommendations to be able to open in the fall (including this one)?
Commissioner-The SBOE adopted an initial proposal for changes to ED 306.14- remote instruction at its meeting last Thursday. When will that amended initial proposal be shared with Superintendents and Principals? Thank you for any update that you can provide.
The Heath supplies requested refers to an email to obtain more information. Is the content of that email available anywhere on the Doe website?
Could we encourage the Governor to consider providing some CARES funds to school districts to cover the transportation costs we have incurred to cover bus drivers salaries? We were told that cares funds would cover this for us, but the title. 1 or 2 money we may be receiving will definitely not cover these costs. we have saved jobs and feel like districts need financial assistance for doing so. I spoke with Heather Murray; she directed me to you.
YES- on sharing district-level re-entry plans on a common site

Sorry, correcting my question from above…The Health Supplies Request form refers to an “email” to obtain more information. Is the content of that email available anywhere on the DOE website?
When do you expect that the ESY guidance will be finalized?
can we order more if we already have used some of ours?
Do you know if the Wellness Workgroup of the STRRT would be willing to create a standardized statement to students concerning the safety of [hopefully] returning to school in the fall? For months parents have told [especially young] children the schools are not safe enough for them to attend. However, in the fall most students will be going back to the exact place that’s “too dangerous” as of right now. A comforting statement from experts in that area may be helpful.
Thoughts on amending transportation statutes / requirements during the pandemic? Would likely be a slippery equity issue, but if we’re not screening before students get on a bus, screening at the building level is likely too late.
Great idea, JIM!
Brendan: Could you re-send the plans? It's my intention to reach out to everyone who submits a plan.

Regarding summer programs, has there been any thought to regional restrictions rather than a state-wide blanket ruling on what is allowed and what will be restricted? It seems that certain areas of the state have relatively few COVID-19 cases and may be in a position to open sooner than other areas. Could NH implement their summer protocols in a way that is similar to other states that have both rural and more urban areas that are impacted differently?
Will the survey for parents have questions about busing? More parents may be planning on driving students to school in the fall than in the past. That could alleviate some potential busing issues.
same things happened to me with PPE. ordered and never got a confirmation. I’ll also contact you Commissioner
I am not finding the health care alert that you reference on the DHHS site. Could you please share the relevant link?

Yes - thanks - we do wellness checks in Raymond too - with RPD.
We too have had the PPE order email issue. Twice now
We have requested wellness checks in coordination with school districts
We have had our SRO do wellness checks on students who have not engaged in remote learning. At least it's another set of eyes....

I just did the health supplies, and the PPE request forms. They both worked and I got confirmation emails.

thank you Brian
And if we are required to do temps for students before entering the building, and walkers come 1.5 miles and must be at "ambient" temperature for 10 minutes before temps are taken, where do we put them inside so that we can determine whether or not they can come in?
It is not the initial email for the PPE that people are not getting. It is the second email that let’s you know that your order is ready up. Showing up to pick up your masks without having that second email will result in you leaving the site empty handed (as I did)
He texted me to say that he had to jump to another call…
