Please clarify the temporary wage subsidy that government is offering covering Mar 18 to Jun 20.1. Is it for work that is earned during this period -- doesn’t matter when they are paid (for example, pay period is Mar 16-31; need to start calculation for only the wages/salary/bonuses starting Mar 18 onwards)2. Is it PAYDATE dependent? Meaning if the paydate falls within this period then it’s eligible (for example, pay period is Mar 1-15, but is paid on Mar 23. Can we calculate subsidy for the Mar 1-15 payroll?
