I entered part way through Dr Lawson's presentation, so I am grateful that I will be able to review the recorded program. I have families that agree to a DNR, but when I speak to them about thinking ahead of time if they would be agreeable to have us do care and comfort here versus hospitalizations, I was surprised at some requesting hospitalizations... even from sons who are surgeons, stating, I want to give Mom every chance... and Mom is well over 80.
