I totally agree about silence from media.. I do a weekly sabbath. Turning off media and such every fri sunset to sat sunset...as purely as I can handle. Even Jesus and his disciples (except Paul) kept a sabbath practice. in the year 302 or close. Constantine the emperor of Rome forced the Christian time of break to Sunday, breaking the Sabbath practice and there after breaking our bond with God. in Africa, though, there are many Christian Sabbath Keepers.
