Did the Affordable Care Act help with disparities in dental healthcare?

01:19:29
Is there a consortium of dentist or dental lead organization addressing health disparities on a national level with federal legislators?

01:23:56
Maybe NASOMH (National Association of State Offices of Minority Health) could be helpful in addressing these disparities in oral care. Our Missouri Office of Minority Health works with the Office of Dental Health in Missouri to help move the needle with these issues related to disparities in dental healthcare.

01:27:42
Both offices are located within the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Our office is willing to assist where possible. We provide dental resources within our local food distribution drives that are occurring statewide due to COVID-19.

01:28:02
Exactly- whose table?

01:28:33
Gloria's.

01:31:33
Feel free to reach out to Joseph S. Palm, MPH, joseph.palm@health.mo.gov or call 314.982.8266. We work with legislators and local elected officials across our state, minority organizations, and underserved communities. We stand ready to help.
