Kirk, thanks for your question on tying in crowdsourcing platforms into weather management. In our project, we did identify some efforts among transportation agencies to apply crowdsourced data sources to traffic and winter weather operations, but we had not performed any design or implementation of integration on that front. This would be an excellent area for further research. I also look forward to potential opportunities to have crowdsourced data appear within TxERA if that project chooses to go that direction-- in that case, our weather management efforts would win, too!

Back to training facilities, what is more effective, one centralized location in TX, or identify several across the state if feasible? What about TEES, do they have tie-in?

Do the other MPOs host TIM training like NCTCOG? Does that model work for other areas of Texas too?

Great work Ray and TxLTAP! Hoping this work can be shared with the national LTAP Association so other Centers can benefit from your valuable work and adapt it as appropriate.
