Some Chinese gay men I interviewed actually described how they don’t like the idea of HIV intervention or PrEP is tied to MSM or gay men, or don’t like to see gay men tailored intervention, as that may exacerbate stigma and discrimination. For individual intervention, tailored materials would be great. But for mass media campaign, they want to make it like “prep for all”
