Question I have to Adrian and/or Tami: how you all have dealt with HEOA textbook provision.

Just wondering if you've found it difficult to implement your prior customizations? i.e. I know you shared code previously where the instructor name on the Section Search was a link to show their profile. Have you been able to still do this?

We have links in our current SS that 'authenticates' our users to a CashNet site as well as the Clearinghouse site, do you have anything like that setup? Im seeing links but wasnt sure about the authentication part

Are you saying you upgraded the database but left SS at 8.8.4 so you wont lose those critical customizations such as CashNet and Clearinghouse authentications?

902 will be delivered at the end of November. A beta is going out for 885 to our DPG tomorrow, and if you wish to test it, please let me know.

The ConEd functionality will be much like what was in 8. It will include discounts. The larger enhancement piece was not part of the 902 release, but is something we're looking at for later in 2020 based on the focus group information we received.

I'm just curious what we're looking at in the background here. I must have missed that.

@wesovall, there's a built-in theme editor that allows selecting your school colors and some images. Very easy.

What specifically are you using to help learn a new skill set to understand the new coding changes?

We will be retiring many of our customizations too.

@adrian are you planning on keeping ss without customizations for the future? or learning how to customize and continue to add customizations to it?

We hope to leave many of our SS customizations behind also. The configuration options will allow so much more flexibility.

How much end user downtime did your school experience when you finally went live with 9.0.1?

what skill set are you looking for on you-tube? wasnt sure what to search for

CSL is also working through the process of learning how to customize SelfService. We're about 90% of the way through it, but still fumbling through learning TypeScript.

is it correct that the Dept Head tab isnt out yet? We have many people using the Department tab

I agree getting past 8.8.1 ASAP.

I think it's required for everyone to get on at least 8.8.5 by the end of this year unless they plan to code their own 1098-T report.

Can you show where we map PowerCampus roles to Self-Service roles? Isn't it in another tool now?

@Kim - Lasell, there is no such mapping anymore. We were intending to use the new user management APIs, but we can't because of the ADFS domain name issue Tami mentioned. So we currently testing doing role mapping via SQL.

omgosh thats a big one for us is the printing options that students have in SS now so they would really complain about that if its missing
