PBAs may only be used to meet LEGBR (which he'll cover in a minute) - not as a replacement for a Keystone Exam

So....when did this cohort/grade level change? It was unclear previously. So anyone considered a senior right now is subject to meeting all the pathways and cohort has no bearing on this?

Do learning support sections of Biology, Algebra, and English for special education students satisfy the course requirement if keystones are not passed?

Although students with 504 plans have a disabilities, they cannot use the special education category, correct?

Can all learning support students graduate via the IEP pathway?

What happens if a parent exempts their child from taking all Keystone exams? Would they just need to meet the alternative assessment or evidence based pathway?

For Biology, do the advance courses need to be Biology? Biology 2? AP Bio? or do other AP Sciences count?

Can a course be pass/fail for credit recovery?

what is they fail the trigger course but pass higher course like geometry or chemistry, does that count as local established grade based requirement

Student has an IEP, passed district Algebra, Biology, and Literature classes and has earned enough credits to graduate, but did not meet any of the Keystone Pathways and not in CTE, AP, post secondary or IB programs. Do they have to attempt the SAT, ACT, PSAT, WorkKeys, or ASVAB before it’s determined to graduate on IEP?

Is the NCAA division II guidelines for Pathway 5 considered 2.0 or 2.2? NCAA has raised Division II requirement to 2.2 but PA website still says 2.0.

Act 158 states 2.0 explicitly - "(F) Satisfactory compliance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association's core courses for college-bound student athletes with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or the equivalent on an alternative grading scale."

To clarify what Bryan said, if a student who is senior currently, in the 19/20 school year had two non numeric proficient we can only use one? So with two NNP and 1 numeric score they do not meet the proficiency pathway or composite pathway?

Most districts will have students who don't meet any of the pathways or exceptions/waivers. Will there be a way to report that and what are the consequences?

Do pathway credentials need to be reported on the graduation transcript?

So schools should be trying some other alternative pathway for students with IEP’s first and if they can’t meet it, then they would fall under the IEP pathway?

Certification Tests, like MOS, have limited modification allowability. Can practice exams (like GMetrix) be used in lieu of the actual exam for IEP students to count as an artifact in the Evidence-Based Pathway?

For students completing an internship, it says their worksite needs to be approved. Is this approved at a district level or school level?

Can peer-tutoring count as a service-learning artifact?

So an acceptance letter into an accredited IHE is not enough to be used as 1 artifact for the Alternative Assessment pathway?

don't forget, there may be requirements (such as background checks) that must be met for work-based learning

if it is evident that the student will not be required to participate in a remedial, non-credit, or non-college-level coursework, the acceptance letter may be sufficient.

For CTE students, can you clarify the difference between a credential and a certificate? Is it true that as long as they are a concentrator and earned an IRC, then they have met the requirements. They DO NOT HAVE TO PASS THE NOCTI?
