Hi Erin! Yes, this grant is for eligible counties where GM has a facility. We will look at the metro areas later on in the webinar, but you can also check out all eligible counties on page 9 of the Application Instructions pdf on our site

There is a GM facility in Orion Twp MI but I didn't see that on your list, does that mean the area is not eligible?

So my takeaway is that for this specific grant, it's better to have just a "place" that can be made better for an underserved community, than it is to have the actual plan for the "place"
