We are! We are also looking at which customers have also received other assistance in the past and which ones are new to us in terms of assistance programs

What if they lost their job due to secondary effects of COVID? For example, increased alcohol use due to current stress, which caused the person to go to inpatient treatment for 90 days and was fired?

Any connection to Covid-19. Loss of job, loss of hours, inability to go in for any reason from health to safety concerns to high-risk family member, to folks on a fixed income who had to start having food delivered in order to stay home and stay safe

Yes. as long as there is a lease

Does an applicant need to have a lease with a start and end date? Or can households with month to month rental agreements apply also?

What about folks with verbal agreements, instead of traditional leases?

Yuni month to month lease is eligible. None of the requirements state a year lease thankfully

If a tenant is under 50% AMI and meets eligibility for both, could they use CARES for three months and then ERAP for another three months?

It is a requirement and no longer a 20 day situation

We have added it to our tracking now that we are a few weeks in.

Any chance City of Tacoma, Lakewood, and other jurisdictions will align their rental assistance programs with Pierce County’s?

Will Call Center be 24/7?

I believe the City is doing a presentation after Jeff and Sean, but I do not know if they will align. The states requirements are not flexible unforunately.

All agencies have been STRONGLY encouraged to staff up completely as well as to take admin

Application process - it seem slike 15 days to reach out is way too long

Re call center - use AI for basic info? Some do that.

The 15 days is because of the flood of applications when we first opened. Now that we have a great process and worked out the bugs it will get faster
