What does she think is driving the anger in the public about law enforcement? Does she feel it is justified? how is she specifically using her influence at this important time, to drive an agenda for change in a system? If not “defunding”, and moving resources around—-what? What, besides training, needs to change?

do you think it is in the public’s best interest for public employees, like law enforcement, to have a union? Does having a police union ultimately serve the public interest?
Alan Jones

I am a fan of both law enforcement and people of color, and I realize both sides are suffering. It appears people react strongly when there are many shots fired, sometimes emptying the magazines into someone. To us untrained, that seems more like panic or fear. How do you help us understand those situations better?
