I’m a long term Community Board Volunteer member. Our challenge has been to motivate other Board Members to become engaged in committees.

we’ve had to be really honest about what staff is working on across the board and what’s possible and what isn’t. I’m also keeping an “ideas for later” list so they know we can always revisit them next year
