curious what folks are finding are the best messaging frames for people who use drugs? (for short-message materials vs longer 1:1 conversations)

55:32
Thank you Adrienne. My email is mhar@riversidehealth.org

55:42
Sure thing, thanks Mun

55:53
there is a lot of confusion and trust issues surrounding the vaccine in PWUD communities. Such as... is one vaccine better than the other. Will the virus affect my DNA... explain the "fast track" the FDA used , it's suspicious. These are from my participants and PWUD peers

56:26
totally, about half of the folks SSPs are seeing feel the same re trust issues

57:37
I was actually concerned that not getting side effects means it isn't working as well

59:57
Both shots; just a sore arm

01:01:26
"it's up to you" is from the ad council: https://adcouncilvaccinetoolkit.org/messaging

01:01:52
Thanks Christine!

01:01:56
How do we convince/explain in lame man terms that the vaccine does not affect the viral load, like increase the viral load and make them weaker, like in their mind, the vaccine will "clash" with the HCV and HIV virus.

01:01:58
So glad you're here!!

01:02:20
thanks christine

01:05:20
Some message frames that might resonate for people who use drugs include altruism (if you're protected through vaccination, you're doing your part to keep your peers safe from COVID) and fairness (we don't want the health care system to leave PWUD out/behind)

01:05:26
Great ! Andrew. Good to know... Thank you!

01:05:50
Beautiful point, Daniel!

01:05:50
