Are the food options still limited?

Spring sports, outside, limited? Masks?

My student and her roommates tell us that the food at the cafeteria is not very good with limited options, substandard selections and often some of the options are stale or brown . Are there going to be anymore options for them to cook in their dorm?

My boys have experienced this also.

my daughter was put in isolation yesterday due to testing positive but has zero symptoms can she re-test before 26th in case this was a false positive. they also told her it could be as late as 31st to be isolated in a separate room.

My girls agree to food comment above.

Dining on the weekend are really bad I hear. It seems once administration is gone for the week it goes down hill.

I think dinner is the harder option. My girls sport and time of eating and its hard, they miss a lot or at the end with not much left.

Did I hear there is opportunity for students to help solve the food service issue of lack of workers?

Its a after clean up so thats why they miss.

Question about security we heard several students vehicles were vandalized in the parking lot. The students were told apparently there are no cameras on campus? My student and her roommates/teammates feel they never really see any security presence aside from students especially at night. Do you have any night patrol by actual security staff aside from students at entrance booths

I have heard that parking is becoming a problem and my students teammates have received tickets because there was no student parking spaces available and they only had staff lot spaces.

I was curious if there has been any discussion of expanding education opportunities at the school such as Physician Assistant programs. Many of the smaller private school are starting to offer this especially those with nursing programs. They are severely needed and could be a revenue generated for the school since all spots are always full

Are professors being encouraged to offer in-person office hours as opposed to just zoom options?

Regarding parking, has there been any discussion about making the area by the Music wing of the BMC into parking? There are numerous concerts on campus, but the walk for disabled older adults is difficult. If there were a close parking lot below by the music wing, or at least a drop-off loop would be wonderful. Also it would be helpful for students with bulky instruments.

Michele, professors can do either. They are to let students know when they are available to meet each week. Students should always feel free to ask to meet with professors even if outside of the listed office hours.

Like this idea for commencement- families are part of a college students educational journey. Should take advantage of the S. California weather and the smaller campus/student body.

And students are able to choose their walk through time so they get to be near their friends along the route~
