I feel like the question is geared toward how do we handle patriarchy in our local congregations and the ways that we feel around our peers who believe women are not meant at all levels of leadership.

Connection and sound are back, thanks

"Fired upon by friendly fire." Absolutely true.

I feel that the covenant path is actually that transformational work, but we've redefined it as the "to do list" and "activity markers" But when you zoom in on our covenants they are actually all about changing our heart to turn to God and towards others in love.

I yearn for the day when we can pray to Them without reprimand. Unfortunately, we are asked not to pray to Mother in Heaven; we are told to "pray to the Father in Christ's name."

Agreed ^^ I yearn for this as well.
Krystal Barnes
01:33:13
I yearn for that, too. This is something many women and men yearn for, and we need more people willing to speak about this.

I don't agree that we shouldn't take policy personally, just because it is being universalized. There are so many options, various approaches we could take as an institution. Our leaders are human, we are human. I would hope leaders would provide more fluidity in our worship.

"Don't get ahead of the brethren." I can't even count how many times I've been told this.

I just learned the BEST QUOTE for that concept. Eliza R Snow said, “We need not be afraid of doing too much not getting ahead of our Brethren— and if we did, why let them hurry up.” Such a gem from our first general Relief Society president!
