Are there lessons from the Canadian model of First Nations that we can learn from or duplicate?

Bleu - when you spoke of “leap frogging” directly to green technologies and not facing the burdensome infrastructure in most of America today, I felt this extraordinary vision of the Navajo Nations becoming a place that epitomizes an example of what America and the rest of the world could aspire to. A place a people full of wisdom in how to live in the future. Because of your history in being one with the land, you hold a promise of being able to solve the problems of today in ways that wouldn’t hit non-Native Americans. In essence you become the very things we will all aspire to! Thank you! (I sincerely mean this and desire to help in practical ways.)

Lisa, a wonderful vision. Confronting the truths is humbling and devastating, knowing what the majority culture (of which I and my ancestors are a part) has done and is doing. I highly recommend the podcast This Land for continued learning on the past and present travesties against indigenous peoples--for the sake of profit.

A practical question: How many hours a day do you work on advocacy projects? You amaze me with your breadth of efforts.
