Should parents email you, Scott, for that list?

35:05
Thank you for putting all those resources together, Scott!

Ashley, I wrote down everyone’s name in the meeting and will send it to everyone. But please, offer it to anyone who may want it in the notes : )

There hasn't been any time set aside for kids to socialize freely with each other during the kindergarten school day for my son--even the breakout rooms are very structured and adult-led. During most of the activities, kids are strongly encouraged to mute themselves unless they are directly answering a question by a teacher. This kind of atmosphere doesn't encourage socialization between peers.

It would be great to have some purely social times set up, even just once a week

44:36
Maybe on the Wednesdays they have short days?

46:33
I think that would be nice. Maybe small breakout rooms with only a few kids per room, and the adult should not dominate the conversation but let the kids lead and talk about the topics on their minds

48:13
I think that would be great!

53:55
the Facebook grade groups might be a good place to start looking at interest too

56:20
Kathryn, I agree with you.

01:00:35
I really like that idea of grouping by topics of interest

01:00:46
Minecraft would be a great one!

01:01:34
Ashley, great point! I think kids would really like that

01:02:44
It would be easier to pitch it to our kids if each social group had a high interest theme, too, so they will know what they have in common that they can talk about

01:03:16
That would be awesome!

01:06:29
I like that idea

Thank you
