It's so great to hear your board is gender balanced Ros - you're in very exclusive company (unfortunately)

I have a question, in general for all of our speakers: many of them talked about imposter syndrome, or having internal/mental barriers, how did they 'detect' what was holding them back and how did they tackle these internal barriers to move forward?

Any thoughts on how women can prepare to operate effectively within board meetings, particularly in the earliest stages of joining a board - it can be a daunting experience - any thoughts on how we can demystify how boards operate?

Part of the pipeline issue I see is the imbalance of stepping up for opportunities within the company that are seen as “competitive”. I’ve seen imbalance between genders in doing so, less willingness with woment to compete with colleagues. Have you seen this also? And if so, what do you do to mitigate?

This is great and so insightful. As a women in recruitment recruiting into the science market I unfortunately still see this gender bias but its slowly changing. If anyone is interested in learning more about what we do from a recruitment ( Michael Page) point of view to attract the most diverse candidates please let me know. Several new platforms and new ways of working to alleviate any unconscious or conscious bias.
