Do Pluto notebooks on the web require a backend kernel to interact with it?
Logan Kilpatrick (he/him)
01:08:05
I think so: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiXv56kgO7zAhXTN30KHR5ZA6cQyCl6BAgEEAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DIAF8DjrQSSk&usg=AOvVaw3Gu0CQVoLq7p1WxsO7jUpd

Great work Jacob : )
Philip Robinson
01:10:28
makes me want to give a talk in using hakaru...
Jacob Zelko
01:12:06
Tim Swast and Philip - Pluto notebooks can be deployed to the web as they do require a kernel for most interactivity. But, you can actually deploy static web pages without a kernel if you do not need interactivity.
Philip Robinson
01:13:56
pluto looks very interesting. It addresses the greatest frustration I have with jupyter. hakaru was a comment about the language diversity, its a haskell based language for bayesian networks.
Jacob Zelko
01:15:13
Sorry - I misread Hakaru as Heroku
Philip Robinson
01:16:02
what is your ECC project?
Allan
01:16:12
Could u show us some fake generate curves pls?
Dennis O'Brien
01:16:33
Do you have any visual examples of the curves created?
Raman Shah

I'm still wondering about the other kind of Data Scientist than the one who can do inference. He never said anything about it
Timo Cornelius Metzger
01:29:42
Thanks everyone, see you at the #bokeh-sprint channel (and check out our contributor guide: https://docs.bokeh.org/en/latest/docs/dev_guide.html) Thanks! ♥
