I am not a hydrologist AT ALL and having a fun, compact tool made it less intimidating to write about a big issue our Lake Superior watershed is dealing with in northern Wisconsin.
Erin Burkett
53:17
Love it!
Dave Bastian
53:48
So true Sandi!
Gregg Elliott

I have a question about press releases!
Gregg Elliott
01:16:00
A general question: if you are trying to tell a story with good news and/or happy ending, how do you compete with the bad news focus of our reptilian limbic systems which seem to suck up all of our 8-second attention spans??
Gregg Elliott
01:23:51
Great!
Dave Bastian
01:24:48
The last point hits hard. I get fantastic pics of my crews at lunch and on break but so few of them actually working, the pics we really want!
Heather Knight, CCC
01:28:23
We will host a training on video to simply tell your story using video in May-2 sessions May 25 and 27
Erin Burkett
01:28:59
Thanks Heather! I coordinate a watershed partnership and know we need more, and better, images. I appreciate the reminder to remind the folks in-the-field to take them if they can. We tend to re-use the same (higher quality) photos over and over again in our outreach - is that bad? Using the same pics repeatedly?
Sandi Good
01:35:45
Yes Heather Thanks!
Gregg Elliott
01:35:55
Heather, will that presentation about how to craft video stories be available online afterwards to share with people?
Erin Burkett
01:36:48
Very cool before/after drone footage
Heather Knight, CCC
01:36:59
yes we will record it and post it
Dave Bastian
01:37:05
Very cool.
Gregg Elliott
01:38:01
Thanks - the drone footage could even be enhanced with graphic arrows and text that point to cool new features e.g. riffles - because it could be difficult to interpret some drone images…
Johnny Sundstrom
01:39:50
Gotta go. Thanks folks, Johnny
Heather Knight, CCC
01:40:09
Thanks for joining Johnny

A what kind of camera?
Dave Bastian
01:51:15
I have to go pick up my daughter from school. Thanks for this Brett, it was great!
Heather Knight, CCC
01:51:40
Thanks Dave for participating
Erin Burkett
01:54:13
Could we get a link to this video? It’s a great model for similar culvert /road stream crossing work being done in the Upper Great Lakes.
Gregg Elliott
01:54:24
The culvert issue is huge in the Southeast as well (different species, same issue). Thank you for the very informative presentation!
Erin Burkett
01:54:45
Culverts unite us!
Tracy Stephens

Thank you for this info, Brett! I have to go.
Heather Knight, CCC
02:00:36
Thanks Tracy

02:04:32
I could use help!
Erin Burkett
02:06:10
Thank you! This was very helpful for me. My role requires a lot of communication but I don’t have the work experience or formal training for that.
Erin Burkett
02:06:59
Take care all!
Heather Knight, CCC
02:07:15
Thanks Erin
