I liked the idea of looking at the things around us as ‘wake up bells’ rather than distractions. I often tell my clients as an attempt to become more mindful and in the moment is to, visualize themselves separating or being beside their physical being in order to shift this perspective and to be able to observe what they are doing and what is happening around them.

I taught in a Christian private high school and I use music or a brief inspirational video to get the class to settle down and focus at the beginning of the class. Allows me to observe their body language before diving into content to make sure the students are mentally in the room with me along with physically in their desks. I like the " wake up bells" concept

Thank you for this session, I am an Interfaith Ordained Minister, have taught from the pulpit and I have/am a student /teacher of Reiki, Tao, Kabbalah, Buddha and Kriya Yoga and I have lived in an. Ashram and more, but at the moment my cup feels empty, some of my clients have been calling me in tears and suggestion for breathe work is not workng. If I was one of my students/clients right now I would diagnosis myself as PTSD, so I appreciate your lesson. Namaste, Da Ai
