01:34:31
What turn around on decisions do you expect for the Resilience Program?
Melissa - Arts Nexus
01:36:56
I appreciate this is a difficult question to answer, I’m wondering about the advocacy that will be done to capitalise on the dependency people are having now on the Arts as part of their isolation.
Elliott Bledsoe
01:38:03
Just a reminder to please mute your mics if you are not asking a question.
Melissa - Arts Nexus
01:38:03
I really like the sound of “Survive” program so people can apply for the “hard costs” of riding this wave and stay in place
julianneschultz
01:38:54
Is the new fund all from the current savings, or there new money from the Commonwealth as well?
Anna Molnar
01:41:28
Hi everyone, Anna here watching from Woiwurrung country of the Wurundjeri people in the Kulin nations. I arrived late, so just checking in - have they announced today which orgs are receiving the four-year funding, or is Frank just providing advance information?
julianneschultz
01:41:32
Is there any chance of support from Commonwealth extra
julianneschultz
01:41:57
Ie, support for industries as is happening elsewhere.

Are existing and new 4 year funded orgs able to access these new funds?
pippabailey
01:51:41
I am unclear what happened to the funding round that closed in Feb? And is there thinking about audiences/ communities and new ideas for advocacy now?
Harmonie
01:53:53
Do the new resilience grants allow for purchase of equipment?
Melissa - Arts Nexus
01:53:59
SUGGESTION: start with getting us a “box” to tick. We still fit under “Farmer”. No “Arts” specific one
Elliott Bledsoe
01:54:11
Those watching the Auslan signing we are switching back to Susan. Please pin her window now.

My income can be 0 one month and then an invoice gets paid in another month. The Jobkeeper is based on a much more stable model of income. It asks us to demonstrate a 30% drop from the same month in 2019. my question is how do we demonstrate a 30% drop of income (on the monthly basis required) given that comparison could be with a 0 income in 2019 and 2020, in any given month?

Lubi I raised this last week it was a centrelink issue before the pandemic and continues to be an issue
lubithomas
01:59:38
I’m sure I’m not alone with this level of haphazard income flow as an artist :)
lubithomas
02:00:22
Thanks Lenine - once again we aren’t fitting into the boxes very well :)

02:04:31
Other skills are disappearing from the sector. I know of at least 6 independent/culture arts marketing people who have taken work in other areas (e.g. call centres). They may not return to the arts post COVID-19.
Harmonie

ollow questions - will the new grants have access line items in them?
wordtravels

Quick question on hybrid forms across multimedia - film and spoken performance, podcasting - which funder? Ozco, Screen…?
wordtravels
02:13:04
Also if it’s not peer boards. Do we still need to focus on a specific art form label?
Elliott Bledsoe
02:14:40
A good question Monica. As an arts marketing contractor with on-going relationships with some of my clients it is something we have been thinking/wondering about. Which is the best way to go?
Monica
02:16:31
Once I've done some more modelling and spoken with Frank I'll share the info on where we land.
Elaine Acworth
02:16:37
Perhaps I missed it… Did Frank mention whether there was a need to prove loss of income when applying for the survival stream of the resilience fund? As a sole trader - who has gig that are currently postponed and may be cancelled?
Monica
02:17:06
Is Frank postponing his retirement!
