Are there any current partnerships with ecommerce websites to prevent the marketing of fake pills on their website? How can we engage these ecommerce websites and what efforts are being made.

Good morning everyone. I currently work for the state of Arizona but prior to this current position as a behavioral health advocate, I was a serious mental illness and addiction case manager. I have observed the huge issue with addiction including my only daughter of 4 children. In this observation I believe that peer run recovery is not the best idea as it is obvious that most (80%) of person who are recovered addicts have a drug induced mental illness that is not managed properly. Just my observation. And no my daughter is not getting any help and I am exhausted/burned out.

How should you handle if you come across counterfeit pills….gloves and law enforcement?

Our local public Health Departments in Oregon lack funding and staff. This has placed the addiction prevention and awareness on BH entities and other agencgies.

Any insight to how JC centers could resource Narcan without the high expense?

Jennifer - If you think the idea about repeating the webinar recording and adding a Q&A for public health we can work with our counterparts in Region 10 to make this happen.

We also distribute Narcan in the community, I saw that people can request Narcan for free at major pharmacies as well, and our entire community uses it

there has been an increase of deaths here in Chicago. my uncle died from a fentanyl over dose. education really needs to be pushed in the south suburbs.
