Hi Melinda!
Bonnie McKewon
35:33
I like Canva also … I've used Canva's infographic format to design a library board recruitment flyer
Heather Arnold
36:18
If your library uses Hoopla, Dear Data and Super Graphic are both available as ebooks there.

Bonnie - I'm going to need a copy of that! I am going to have 2 board openings next year!
Margaret P
36:49
Do you use the PRO version of Canva?
Margaret P
37:24
Okay, thank so much! :)
Heather Clark
37:40
I use the Pro, did you have a specific question?
Margaret P
39:29
No, I was just curious. :) I don’t currently use PRO, but was wondering if it was worth subscribing to.

Is there a trick to grabbing items to move them? I'm clicking away all of the time.. maybe saying words.
Hilary Aid
56:45
Yes! Thanks!

It won't flip text, only graphics :p
Janice Hovis

If we have an image such as our institution logo, can we upload and use it?
Mrs. Will
01:00:46
Been using Canva for like 4+ years :)
Anne Arundel (virtualservices)
01:00:52
You can definitely upload your own images
Heather Arnold
01:00:53
Karen, do you have thoughts on some good principles to keep your infographics looking pretty?
Patti
01:01:56
IF you really want to flip text, you can just use the rotate handle and spin it around upside down.
Anne Arundel (virtualservices)
01:02:16
If you want to flip your text, download the graphic, crop away everything that’s not your text and upload the graphic of the text as an image. Then you can flip it. Works well for the “mirror-image” effect.
Mrs. Will
01:02:31
Personally, I suggest reading the book "Steal like an Artist" Its about taking other's work and making it your own. Learn what works and adapt to your needs.
Heather Arnold
01:03:02
You are answering it, thank you!
Anne Arundel (virtualservices)
01:03:49
You can do what Patti said, too, but it will be backward, so if you want a reflection, you need to save it as a graphic first. :)

At our library, we use unsplash.com and they have TONS of public domain images that you can use.
Lisa Farrell
01:04:12
Is there a way to narrow down the elements to only FREE. I find one I want and then that it's PRO.
Anne Arundel (virtualservices)
01:04:15
And yes, I’m using a work Zoom, so that’s my library name!
Anne Arundel (virtualservices)
01:06:41
I know you can in the Pro version. Weird you can’t do it in free.
Anne Arundel (virtualservices)
01:06:50
Even though all images are included in Pro now
Lisa Farrell
01:07:46
I see pro and free...just want to sort out just FREE.
Ashley Bryant

501c3 only.
Hilary Aid
01:08:13
Yeah- you have to be 501c3
Jennifer
01:08:21
Can you tell us more about upsplash
Mrs. Will
01:09:22
Pro has Magic Resize which is AMAZING!!! I can design 1 graphic then resize to various sizes without starting from scratch to do facebook ads vs say web & Instagram sizes.
Lisa Farrell
01:09:28
That's great Anne...I"m going to share that with my foundation.

unsplash.com is a website where you can source public domain images. Many of the images you’ll see in canva sometimes come from those, too.
