hi

11:47
Hi Lauren, does the training tonight go onto our develop account? Or do you happen to know if this course is credible for our required training requirements.

13:38
Briana, unfortunately this training has not been Develop-approved since it is free and was planned as a spontaneous pop-up; however, eventually the modules that are a part of the toolkit will be Develop-approved and something you can obtain credit for. :) Thanks!

14:28
Sounds good! Thank you!

22:21
sorry cant do this tonight just found out my nieces husband passed away today just cant focus on me for now

42:57
Someone who truly listens without trying to "fix" me.

43:04
to allow myself the space to feel my own emotions related to my work, family, and pandemic

43:05
validation, its ok to have a different view/ opinion/past.

43:18
I need a safe space to be held. I need to have a sense of trust with the people I am with to be held.

43:24
Sometimes in order for me to feel heard I need to see someone listening without talking.

43:25
Someone to listen and not try solve - just listen. Sometimes thinking out loud to someone else is all I need.

43:29
Someone to listen and support each other on the team.

43:29
Heard-active listening

43:30
Sit in the quiet to reflect about the day - without distractions

43:31
yoga classes, exercise/dance classes, sewing workshops, quilt classes, painting classes, patio pot planting classes...

43:41
I feel heard when I can talk to my co-worker and she just listens. She doesn't try to "fix" it, she just listens

43:54
Learning the importance of the pause- to not have to have the answer at that very second

44:00
Emotional connection and to know that others don’t have it all figured out and that I can come back from this

44:59
Meditation in my faith, and having someone sit with me and not have to talk.

45:30
I need someone who can identify with me

49:52
Acknowledge that inequity must begin to end

57:30
I'm learning that I need to schedule "me time" every day

57:31
Do you have any recommendations for teens

57:37
Mindful moments are powerful pauses. I like noticing nature and mindful eating to help slow down and manage stress.

57:37
How do we break down the culture that makes putting self care to the side a badge of honor?

57:41
This is so helpful. It’s making me really that I haven’t been taking any time to stop, pause and breathe. Thank you.

57:47
Thank you, very helpful!

57:56
I love the reminder of our ability to return to routine and tools that have helped in the past. I just recently came across multiple art journals from years past and am now feeling inspired to start that practice again

58:01
Thank you so much for the opportunity to reflect on the things we have all gone through this last year. It has been a lot.

58:42
Thank you. Taking time, allowing for the pause, so important.

58:49
Thank you for reminding us just how important it is to pause...especially throughout the workday...take time to pause...breathe...and reflect. I'm going to work on this for myself.

59:09
How do we break down the culture that makes putting self care to the side a badge of honor?

01:00:50
Self compassion is the beginning of offering compassion to others.

01:01:20
Taking time to pause and breathe can be so difficult when I feel like the 'mental load' is constantly weighing me down. Do you have tips on how to share that mental load? (with our partner or colleague)

01:01:40
How does a staff mend & move forward from a restructuring & differing ideas with a director

01:01:43
Self care for me is taking breaks when needed, reflect on feelings or stressors, and deep breathing. Exercise has helped me decrease with stress That is very true we can't help others if we are not ok..

01:02:06
Thanks for the reminder to pause throughout the day. I have not always filled my cup and I have tried to give from an empty cup and realized that does not work so I know I need to take care of myself to be able to take care of others.

01:03:05
The importance to reflect on your day or even a meeting- the importance of being preset

01:04:02
I’m looking for ways to ritualize self-care, so it becomes a habit done even during difficult times

01:06:42
We use oils and massage, and have a walking “circle” we call the mighty mile. We use it to get emotions out, or peaceful. My younger teen found painting as her relaxing point. Older teen is adjusting to college. As myself I find myself watching sunsets and mowing grass or “walking my snowblower” as the kids say.

01:07:35
This is so very helpful and appreciate the guided reflection!
