The topic of the presentation attracted me to join in today. I am a mechanical engineer with master studies from U of C but not related to life sciences. Fellows can also apply to Mitacs to get their own Mitacs Fellows to help with development. A big part of the mentorship involves helping Life Sciences Fellows access other development funding.
