Is the Flex option MORE or less appealing to foreign universities? Is the Flex more or less competitive?

If you have a spouse who is also an academic historian and meets the criteria, can you both apply to the same award in the hopes of going together?

Hi Aran, you may apply to the same award, but Fulbright does not allow for joint applications. This means you would both being applying as individuals for the same award.

I apologize if I missed this as you were discussing the country summaries (the contents of which I am familiar with): is there a way to search all countries looking/for welcoming history? Or do you have to examine the individual country summaries one by one?

Oh, I see now. Anyone who teaches the language can register as a language evaluator, it says. So I would just ask a colleagues in the Languages Dept to register and then evaluate me.
