Hemet-Ryan Airport is a Cal Fire base--but I've heard that the BOS wants to bring in FedEx planes--will we loose Cal-Fire? HR is also a CAP, search and rescue, and an Air Ambulance base
Art Persyko

Michigan has lots of rain right now. Are there any ways that are being investigated that are practical to move water from a state so far away to California?
Art Persyko
38:22
Water may become so valuable that at some point it maybe cost-effective to move water long distances, won’t it?
Betty Traynor
40:04
Art's question above.

Ellen Schwartz

@Bonnie, all t he power garage doors I've ever seen have a pull cord somewhere along the chain. You pull it down and it disengages the power chain and you can open the door manually.

58:46
I would leave immediately when ordered! You can always replace your home, not your life.
Bonnie Petty
58:53
The pull cord is a new development. Many people here in Sonoma County could not get their doors open in fires a few years ago.
Marie Jobling
59:03
Thanks for all the great tips
Betty Traynor
59:03
Is there any CA funds to help people pay for fire retardant roofs?
Susan A Hammer

Linda Perez

Great idea.
Ellen Schwartz
01:05:24
I keep my Birkies next to the bed in case there's an earthquake and the window shatters. They are 20 years old or maybe more and not the shoes I want to have to wear for weeks. Looking at them is why I decided against cork floors.

In Berkeley, Easy Does It is signed up to do this if you sign up. The city is paying for it.
