right now, most of the IoT devices connects to Android/iPhone first , and get authenticated there in phone apps. is it possible that in near future, we don't need phone apps any more, and could connects IoT devices directly to Edge domains please?

@Wenhui, yes. Cameras with GPUs and capable of running containers greatly help in this transition

@Joe thanks ! then we probably need to prepare the situation that all app functionalities might be offloaded to Edge and executed there, and security checkings IMAs etc are in Edge later on for these Edge directly connected IoT devices ;)
