Some health officials keep saying this is going to get even worse in the upcoming months. What will happen if these steps you are asking to be taken don't get taken care of?

The health of any citizen of the state who needs hospital care is at risk as pandemic conditions worsen. This is literally a matter of life and death.

Nobody outside of the hospital understands how the units work or how much time every single task takes now. When going into a room, you have to take off your surgical mask, put on your N95 (which has been cleaned under UV light every night and used for multiple days) put on your sweaty rubber face shield, your nonbreathable isolation gown and gloves. It’s not a quick process, especially in emergency situations. Once in the room, if you forgot anything, you have to take a dry erase marker to write in the window, put on the call light, then wait 5-10minutes for someone to bring it for you. There is no such thing as quickly going into a patients room anymore. Just taking vitals can takes 20-30minites.
