Here is the first scenario.

Lucy Smith is 28 years old living behind the old Kmart building in Kanawha City. She has been unsheltered for 3 months. Lucy is from a small town in Southeast Ohio. She moved to Charleston to be with her boyfriend. About a month after Lucy moved, her boyfriend began abusing her. Lucy took her dog, Sandy, a few clothing items she could fit into a backpack and left. She tried to keep working but she had no place to wash her clothes, shower, and no form of transportation. Lucy stays to herself and is very untrusting of new people. She trusts our organization because we have helped her obtain food for her and Sandy and provided her with hygiene items, clothing, blankets, and a tent. Lucy only has her Ohio driver’s license as a form of identification. How can we help Lucy and Sandy?

How can we see and provide what shelters and other facilities need so we can help both these organizations and our unsheltered neighbors?
