Do you think the 50 bps refi LLPA will be reversed?
I do not think it will, Chris.
When it comes to the use or lack of use with tech, how much does the "Learning Curve" play into the decision of using it?
For me, the learning curve is the largest price of entry to adopting new tech.
the changes for second homes and NOO may have a temporary setback in pricing but believe private investors will eventually fill this gap, especially as rates move slightly higher.
Agreed Chris Maturo. It’s clear that FHFA really wants to cut ties with government conservatorship. If that continues, further changes to pricing and tightened guidelines will continue
Thanks Troy -Amerihome will be a help in this area. Happy to help the group where I can. I'm new to the group but lived in Utah for 8 years.
Amanda, what program is generating and sending out those emails?
We use surefire and covideo.
how are you managing the increase in home prices, sometimes over appraised values in Utah due to demand?
Great questions & comments, everyone! I'm taking note of the questions and we will bring them up at the end if they aren't addressed beforehand. Keep asking!

Some advice for new mtg. people. Call your local MI Rep. We are here to help and have great training & resources to help you make your job easier :)
Excellent book on the fixed vs. growth mindset- "Mindset" by Carol Dweck.
Candice, you have a very good point... lean on those you trust that have been in the business for a long time and can provide some sage advice. Be authentic, be a pro, know your craft (well), continue to learn and always, always do the right thing.
Dave has been a great resource for me.
Mindset on audible :)
. . . and to Candice's point, the MI company websites have some great training on all aspects of lending: processing, origination, calculating income, understanding tax returns, etc. www.essent.us, www.archmi.com, etc.
Thanks Dave. Appreciate you sharing the websites.
