The life science fellowship is very generous and a great opportunity. You mentioned other seed programs. For ventures / proposals that might not require as much funding and support, (less than 50k) is there something you might suggest rather than the life science fellowship?

How many applicants generally apply and how competitive is the program?

Are there any aspects you have seen from other life science accelerators like Indie Bio, Rebel Bio, CDL, AdMare, etc. that you're adapting into this program? Anything you've learned from similar programs like this?

Are any of the 8 existing fellow startups biotech-based? Is there a public list of these projects?

Could you please let us know how much of a research is expected during the fellowship? Is it 50% or 80% for research?

Some startups fall in both categories for example we have a physical wound care product but we are enhancing the outpatient care with our digital app to track wound care properly. Where would you classify it within the application?

If the fellow could win this fellowship it means they have started their startup?

Do you accept any start-up in Scaling stage? or the product have been developed already?

Related to Omid's question: Question regarding the eligibility criterion of 'companies formed before 1 July 20'. Is this referring only to incorporation (e.g., AB corp registry or Industry Canada) or other business activities?

Is there any equity that innovate Calgary gets for the fellowship?
