It's a struggle to get all staff to engage with the residents and not just the recreational staff as you mentioned. Staff usually report they are short staffed or just don't have the time.

We put activity engagement on some of the residents task sheets that the CNA's/PCA's live off of while they're here. It's a great way to get everyone involed and help with resident participation.
