Can you define "herd immunity" and how that might move us to the Blue Level on the Coronameter?
Sorry the State verbally said 3 weeks but the State public health order indicates 2 weeks.
For my question above, I meant, move to the green level!!
Herd immunity or Community immunity is a measure of how many individuals are protected in a group/community through vaccination or natural immunity (exposure to a disease resulting in long term protection). This protection would predict how easily a disease can spread in a community/group. This measure considers that some individuals can not get a vaccine or may have immune disorders that prevent a vaccine from protecting them. Most diseases are not able to spread if the Herd or Community immunity is >90% and some diseases will be limited in their spread for lower levels at 60-90%. Any community immunity will provide some protection but may not interfer significantly with the disease spread. There is not good consensus on the level needed to prevent COVID-19 disease spread yet. The best estimates are 60-70% of the community would need to have antibodies to achieve herd or community immunity and significantly impact the spread.
Will the construction community be updated and will the numbers go up from only 10 people on a jobsite?
What % for each month will the restaurants be allowed to accommodate for dine in?
Whatare the rukes for retail going forward?
Does that include September?
will 6ft social distancing still be required even if capacity numbers increase?
Does the % % start in September?
will we increase maximum size of tables/booths in restaurants?
Thanks Joni, that incremental increase in capacity could also apply to personal services then as well?
Thanks for that clarification!
So by the end of December we are looking at most 7.5 people increase to dine in a restaurant?
Restaurants will have a hard time staying in business at
That would be the max though correct?
For restaurants that are currently capped at 50 people, will the 5% apply to this number (i.e. 2 additional people after 4 weeks)?
Read the comment plz
as of now we have a maximum of 8 ppl per table. will this change?
once a vaccine is approved do we go back to normal in businesses?
So what percentage are we now...0% or have there been some antibody tests completed?
Was'nt the criteria to go back to normal on the guidelines that a vaccine needed to be available in order to go to blue? Has that changed?
Hi Karen, what I understand from the answer Joni just provided is that we will have to have a deployable vaccine in Gunnison County. The exact time frame for when that will be widely available in Gunnison County remains hard to identify.
What is widely available?
most businesses will not be able to stay economicaly viable in the blue for an entire winter. as we are seeing that covid is effecting the poor disproportionately is this being taken into consideration?
Crested Bute Businesses must have high capacity over Christmas.
Appreciate your efforts!
Thank you! Have a great day!
