Low income fare is having a rally the last week of the month. Date I think is TBD still. Looks like it has no push on its own but could maybe get inside the bond bill. Not likely though

Councilor Lara proposed the civilian flaggers at the city council

+1 Sam - yes! We should make sure that this group knows about the civilian flagger hearing when there is a date. Councilor Lara's proposal would create a department and training program that would allow flagger jobs to be filled by civilians as good-paying jobs.

Also, would be good to fund women and minority business entrepreneurs deeply to allow them to scale up and compete for city contracts at a higher level. Otherwise they are unable to fulfill the needs of the contract without access to the capital of others
