hello Broward

39:02

39:06
hi Bernadette

39:29
Kelly from Broward County

39:32
Good evening,Are Home Daycare Providers being considered for the $2000 incentive if we care infants or disable children? If not why?

41:22
Wanting to share. Not including the teachers who have children in preschool as 'essential staff' was very insulting to the very people you wanted to stay working for others to be able to go to work.

42:48
Where is the Hazard pay? Child care is essential to the economy, with the least amount of guaranteed funding?

43:01
what are the eligibility criteria's for funding?

43:31
agreed, Kelly.

45:01
OEL holding VPK to the 80/20 rule?

49:00
if you have a child with an IEP does that constitute caring for special needs

49:38
chris, I had to reregister as I did not get the password and that may be why more people are not on

49:51
If we are opening a facility in August will we be able to apply for this funding?

50:01
In the beginning there was a rule that providers on probation were not allowed to apply for CARES. Is this still true?

51:22
Will you be having this webinar again anytime soon.

51:37
if you only have a vpk contract is the gold seal or class score still part of the requirement to apply?

52:06
what if center is phase 2, but newly purchased center in end of 2019, and does not have a CLASS score- is that a disqualification?

52:19
So funding is only available for providers who offer VPK/SR?

53:05
if home daycare don't have Gold Seal or Cass 3.5

53:36
How about the centers that have a VPK contract with a score of 94? We just started our SR contract because our school does not service low income families but we are using SR for the First Responder families. You are not visiting centers now to get evaluated with the CLASS Assessment. We are also enrolled into NAEYC in our self study and in process of accreditation. Why do you not provide VPK providers with high scores with the same opportunity to apply for these additional funds. Its truly very upsetting to our preschool that this was not considered. Thank you for your time and all of your work.

53:43
I was open by April 30th with staff paid in our payroll but not children showed up until May 4th.

53:44
continue for funding.

54:37
Are we able to get a copy of these power points?

54:41
do we apply on our regions ELC page?

55:10
Can we expend the money in cleaning supplies and facility improvements or have to be only to improve curricular activities and educational supplies?

55:36
Our center is planning on reopening in August but not on or before August 1st. Can we still qualify?

55:40
Which of these grants are still open for us to apply to?

55:50
I was open throughout do I only fill in the application on the institute 4el

55:57
what is the deadline for applications?

56:05
Do all providers have to submit budgets

56:27
what is the deadline for the applications?

56:30
do i also have to fill in the paper form. also Seminole are also sending me info to apply

56:45
what is the deadline to apply for the grants

57:06
Thank you Erin for you kind words! I personally appreciate it.

57:51
can the family day care home registration confirmstion applicants register?

59:57
where can we get this application

01:00:33
Is the EFS Profile ID our VPK provider number?

01:00:34
can you send me these applications?

01:01:02
Where can I get or fill out the application.

01:01:18
what's the EFS NUMBER

01:01:21
What is EFS Provider ID?

01:01:30
what if you oen before august 1st but not for VPK until end of august

01:02:15
EFS Provider ID is on the Dashboard when you log into the OEL Provider Services Portal. In the middle.

01:03:34
Can the allocation of funds be for items you have already bought and from what date

01:03:38
We already have a profile on the portal and only service VPK. Are we eligible ?

01:04:10
do open provider need to do the budget

01:06:13
so as a provider who was open throughout- the full grant should be received based on the licensed capacity on the license?

01:08:21
Can I please get some clarity on the higher CLASS score or Golden Seal designation?

01:09:26
where can we find these documents?

01:10:47
I am on a cell phone and cannot find the handouts in the chat box

01:13:07
Every ELC is different - ELCAC just gave the paperwork out today!

01:17:28
If we are not opening until late August, are we still eligible

01:17:37
Marina when will the funds be sent to provider

01:18:15
For Non-Contracted Providers that were open on 4-30-20 can the application be submitted online. I completed an on-line application through Early Learning it was set-up like a course. I had to upload w9 forms and Banking Info. Should I have completed the paper application?

01:18:16
the budget is based on which month

01:18:20
will you change the absence allowance

01:18:49
are registered and licensed providers, non contracted eligible ?

01:19:02
when would the funds reach the providers

01:32:03
Not really a question, but our group had a robust conversation on how confusing it has been with all the different pots/phases of funding. So our suggestion rather than question is to give providers a clear overview of all the different supports available side by side so the differences, requirements and deadlines for each can all be easily seen in one place for providers.

01:32:10
Is grant award based on DCF License capacity or preferred capacity?

01:32:10
Our group had multiple ELC representatives - their wonderings were around how best to communicate with providers? How to make the information more streamlined? And also, how are programs with sites in different coalitions dealing with the application process, do they need additional support?

01:32:19
Do open providers need to document how the funds are spent or save receipts etc? Do phase 1, open centers need to supply a budget? Will there be a phase 3 or more PD grants?

01:32:20
Contracted vpk provider was closed. Is she eligible?

01:32:20
I have already done the application, got a return email saying congratulations the application is completed , does that mean it is all set or I still should check with coalition

01:32:26
Do Family Home Child Care Providers who were open or closed have to have higher learning or Gold Seal?

01:32:35
Room 44 was unable to do the questions because we were unable to hear the others that was in the room.

01:32:49
Where do we get information for the applications? And, what information is required along with what can the funds be spent on?

01:32:58
Where do we find the application.

01:33:15
I am referring to when the school are closed

01:33:18
Is registered non contracted provider eligible?

01:33:28
If multiple sites with common ownership is each site eligible? Does each site need to apply separately?

01:33:34
When is the deadline date for Pinellas County also who do we contact at ELCP?

01:33:48
sorry I forgot to include the second question from grp: mini grants had allowable and disallowable items does the CARES Act have such a list?

01:34:27

01:35:02

01:37:31
Good for you Debi!!!

01:37:38
can schools affiliated with a church apply for these grants ?

01:38:34
Why wasn't Non-contacted Providers considered for the Incentive(having infant & disabled children in care)

01:38:43

01:38:49
what if I was close on April 30 but reopened on May 1 the phrase am I eligible

01:39:08
Will applications for school readiness be accepted for children who choose not to resume school and attend daycare with online to school

01:40:44
BUENAS TARDES VAN A PAGAR EL MES DE AGOSTO POR ENRROLLMENT O ATENDANCE

01:41:07
Room 29: IS THE FUNDING BASED ON THE CAPACITY OF THE CENTER OR THE AMOUNT OF KIDS ENROLLED?

01:42:33
Do we complete the application and then upload or is there an actual online document we complete and submit. I have printed out the one I opened from our ELC and completed and plan to upload. Is this the correct process?

01:43:26
The first grant that came out when will it be distributed and what was the amount for providers?

01:43:39
What will happen to any funds not paid out, example if an ELC does not spend all of the funds allocated to them because of closures or providers not submitting an application?

01:44:15
With so many families now qualifying for SR due to loss of jobs...is there funding to add new families going forward?

01:44:58
ROOM 22 IF YOU DO NOT OPEN UNTIL AUGUST CAN YOU SUBMITT APPLICATION

01:46:41
Coalitions have various processes for applications, some will have it online, others may have it hard copy etc. You will need to contact your local Coalition.

01:47:37
NOS VAN A PAGAR POR AGOSTP

01:47:38

01:48:30
Only is they are closed on April 30th

01:49:09
is open via online learning considered being "opened?"

01:49:16
I am about to be contracted, just waiting on the family to get funding. But I had 2 newborns. Do I still lose the extra $2000 even though my SR is ready??

01:50:09
to my understanding online/virtual learning is not considered for this applicaiton

01:50:46
This was great! Thanks!

01:50:48
