43:36
FOLLOW THE SCHOOL POLICY AND THE CDC GUIDELINES

regarding masks: we require our students to bring them. They wear them as they enter our elementary campus, and most of them wear them until about snack time. We have found once they take them off, they have a hard time putting them back on. We have tables marked so kids are spaced out, and remove any toys that go into the mouth or are sneezed/coughed on. We serve 3-4 year olds and special needs preschoolers. We are using the masks as a teaching tool and building tolerance
Pam Melot

We use Bright Wheel at our Center and it's convenient for parents to connect with their children while away.
Priscilla Garcia
57:41
We get good feed back from parents.
Sandy Williford
57:50
I use BRAUN touchless. very helpful easy to use
Ashlyn Gibson
58:09
Can we message one individual staff member instead of all staff assigned to a classroom?
Courtney Ludlow
58:43
The respiratory screener we use in CA doesn’t require us to send a child home with only one symptom and no fever
Samantha Convery
58:49
Our school is keeping all kids home even if they have cold symptoms, but my daughters daycare allows them as long as they don’t have other symptoms
Courtney Ludlow
59:11
However, we let parents know and usually they are willing to pick up and monitor to be safe.
Lauren Bielicki
59:24
Stay home for 24 hours and if no other symptoms or if doesn't worsen, can come back
Rosa Anita Cerda
59:54
If child has been there before covid and has been known to have allergies, we know their symptoms already
JoAnn Quattro
59:56
Runny nose by itself - child can come to the center. Per our state guidelines, 2 non-respiratory symptoms = can't come to school
Kelsi Schalow
01:00:05
Children and staff stay home if they have two or more symptoms. OR parents/staff use their best judgment on the one symptom
Pam Melot
01:01:07
Family First- yes you would pay the staff member. But there are specific requirements to follow.
JoAnn Quattro
01:01:08
Yes by federal and state law in my state we have to pay quarantined employees
Cynthia Cummings
01:01:16
A runny nose is not a symptom that would warrant a child sent home or no acceptance to the program. Therefore we let the parents know so they can keep checking the child's well being and follow up.
Courtney Ludlow
01:01:20
We added additional sick leave that covers approximately 14 additional days through the year. If there was a classroom exposure we would discuss and decide based on each case
JoAnn Quattro
01:01:22
But only for 14 days
Lisa Vincent
01:01:55
each employee gets 80 hours of paid time. After that they can use sick and then it's unpaid
Kelsi Schalow
01:02:11
Our staff get 10 COVID leave days- at regular pay. after that is gone, we use sick time or vacation. Then its unpaid as of now
Catherine House
