RE: tough feet. I recommend never wearing socks when training. I reckon socks are only for race day (and maybe one or two training runs just before the race to remember what they feel like) and I don't tend to get any blisters in the longer ones

Would love to hear thoughts on how to handle current situation where races are being cancelled. Agree a lot of it is about the training, but when you then don’t get to have the “cream’ of the race?

Hi Lisa S. I have felt the same waythe lastfew months with cancelled races and have decided to stop trying to find a race, give myself time to adapt and have picked a distance (100km) to run solo at some trails local to myself and just do something for myself with no pressure of a race and just enjoy running for the sake of running and exploring.
