We use an OUD case for one of our final OSCEs because we focus a full week in the CY on SUDs during a call back week.

How do you keep students from sharing these cases if they are used for formative or summative evaluations?

We do that as well. We also score them based on the performance of the class and utilize the class average -1STD as the passing score. If they "cheat" or share information then they increase the score.

We have found that even when students think they know the scenario, the intensity of the experience (being video taped and graded) prevents the students with a knowledge deficit from performing well.

To add to the above, in an example of a checklist for a technical skill for instance, there are some things that they would just perform or not perform, some that would fit better into the "performed/ not performed/performed but incorrect or inadequate" how do you approach this?
