Hello.. I am from India
Hello This is Deepjyoti Ghosh from Assam Don Bosco University,Assam, India, pursuing Master's of Social Work. email@example.com
Hello from Manchester UK - I know how hugely impactful research can be from the change the Bisexuality Report led in the UK a few years ago. Are today's findings going to be presented in a report somewhere as well as in this (v welcome) presentation?
This is making me soo upset seeing this :'(
Hi from Wiltshire UK, although very upsetting to hear this research is so important and empowering to allow us to address the challenges faced by the LGBT+ student community
yes, and people are actually facing it out there.
I totally agree Sophie. Its just appalling
to read it
Personally I am Bi but I consider myself to be attending as an ally because I have been fortunate never to have experienced this appalling discrimination, I feel so horrible thinking that people go through this on a daily basis so I'm keen to learn how I can take action at university and in the workplace to support my peers!
Hii all... This is Muzammil from India... I'm a research scholar in Mathematics and Computer Applications...
I'm straight but have friends and family who have come out. To think if any one of them went through any of these issues I'd be fuming. I want to help support all for an equal world and to understand things more.
Universities often have specific student officers and advice services for LGBT+ that can help as a trans* man I often find gendered intelligence, mermaids UK and stonewall share information on how to be a good ally and help in the fight for LGBT2Q+ rights
That's good to know J Frank, thank you
How do you feel about the use of quotas for diversity and inclusion initiatives, e.g. having a minimum of 10% LGBT individuals in a company? I’m not sure
Thank you J Frank, I will make sure to check these out and will try to integrate them with the work my society is doing on campus, I'm sure this information would help a lot of people

Not in Tunisia. LGBTQR+ Community is threatened in here. Any sexual act between women / men is criminalized.
where can we download that report??
You can download the report here: https://trendence.co.uk/downloads/out-and-proud
Thank you Zoe :)
MH stats are also significantly worse for bis than for LG
Valuable and important conversations.. Thank you so much to all mygwork team and also the panelists.
Totally Tehzeeb. LGBT+ socs at unis vary so much from not just place to place but year to year as each incoming exec has different energies and attitudes. For me I stopped engaging with mine and found other local orgs that focused on bi space and on trans space. A few years later the uni soc was very different but its about how you experience it when you go there and that first impression.
