How are they calculating the formula for the withdraws on CH 33 students?
We have already received a number of debt letters from the VA due to student withdraws. My understanding is that the PL went into effect on January 5th.

We have received several also, but the amounts are much different that what we submitted for the tuition and fees for the course that they withdrew from.

The thing we wonder about at UWG and asked about in the VA Office Hours and got no answer about is how to handle those debts if the students report mitigating circumstances. Will the VA issue debt letters to the school before, during, or after reviewing the student's claim?
Has there been an upgrade to VAOnce over the last couple of days? We are unable to add new students to one of our extension campus locations? Tracey, I sent an email to you yesterday with the details. Hopefully it is just an isolated.
FYI, our experience has been that the GI Bill hotline still works in addition to the new number we were emailed
In VA ONCE what is the function of the new option "Export File" under the Print tab and where is the information exported to?
The information is exported to an excel spreadsheet.
Does anyone have tips for Deactivating students in VA Once? We have not been able to do this for many months now
I am having the same issue. Not sure what is going on.
Make sure to use internet explorer when deactivating records in VAOnce. Chrome or Mozilla Firefox will not allow you to deactivate
I see the "Deactivate" button, but it does not allow me to click on it. When I do, nothing happens.
We cannot use Explorer as our Institute no longer allows
We've tried all other browsers and still cannot Deactivate
Only works with internet explorer.
Any thoughts on this being fixed at some point?
Any commentary about the round-out rule not be going away as of Aug 1 as we'd initially been told?
It's not going away now? VA confirmed with me last week that it is going away.
I believe VRAP was only for 2-year colleges. Will VRRAP be the same?
Yes- Associate degrees and lower. Upper level doesn't qualify.
NAVPA emails indicate there is legislation introduced this week to require the round-out rule still be effective

They are submitting letters first. The school is responsible for appealing, not the student.
