How do you address the workload for students, especially our special needs students? I see teachers assigning multiple "busywork" tasks but it has multiple steps, various platforms (GClassroom to GDocs to Flipgrid posted back on GClassroom). My students are getting overwhelmed by the steps to get the work submitted, but are clear on the content.

Could you do running records for reading online?
Judy Imamudeen
01:11:29
Or how might we do that?—running records online?

I have used RazKids for running records in 2nd grade. If your school uses it, you can assign an assessment at the desired reading level and listen to them record their voice, retell, and answer comprehension questions. I just did it for Q3 and it worked quite well.

We need more in how to support the adult at home.

Colette, one of the classroom teachers has put on the lesson plans of one student. "Priority" or number assignments, "Do this first, and if you have time..." And maybe special ed. teacher or support staff can rewrite directions so they are clear, concise and possibly modified
