This is fabulous Ek Ong Kaar. I absolutely love this to the actual text "just the facts" approach to the justification for Guru Ram Das' place as the Holder of the Golden Chain. Impressive.
Sat Prem K Khalsa
01:11:16
The golden tipped arrows used by Guru Gobind Singh?
WiseTibetanMonk
01:13:25
Can you write the Sanskrit for Ahimsa?
WiseTibetanMonk
01:13:46

I appreciate your side bars. they are so informative and a through line for my understanding
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
01:14:01
I heard that Nanak brought the Guru into the world of yoga. Did the original yogis not have a Guru relationship?
Sat Puran Livneh
01:14:55
अहिंसा Ahimsā
WiseTibetanMonk
01:15:43
Thank you. Sat Puran. Very nice.
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
01:16:41
Wasn’t then this guru relationship a symbol for all people to use as a devotional touchstone?
Gurusansar Singh
01:18:36
I think that was ideally the point, but actually most ended up getting distracted by the representation instead of the essence
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
01:18:49
That is sooo helpful. Yes thanks.
Satmukh Singh
01:19:35
Sat Nam, why Guru Nanak asked her son Baba Siri Chand to follow an ascetic path, a strict yogic path?
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
01:19:50
Gurusansar - yes thank you
Gurusansar Singh
01:19:53
I think that's behind the discussion around image worship

01:23:58
In which page are these verses, please?
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
01:24:34
At the beginning of the doc. Its a Shabad sheet
Gurusansar Singh
01:24:59
Reminds me of the Buddha's "Unspoken speech" when he silently picked a flower and smiled, and only one of his disciples got it and smiled too. It is said that was his most eloquent speech.
Charan Sevak K
01:25:00
ah ok, it returned to the begining, thank you
SatKartar S Khalsa
01:25:27
writing is too low on the board
SatKartar S Khalsa
01:25:50
and u r in front of it
Gurusansar Singh
01:35:14
That's awesome. There seems to be a connection with the Isht and the Guru as a symbol of reference. Shabd Guru (the Word) being the dynamic reference, rather than the fixed image reference.
RajMantra Singh & RajKaram Singh-New York City
01:35:50
And the mul mantra can be summarized by the first word. Ek
Gurusansar Singh
01:37:16
It is said that the Mul Mantra is a commentary on Ekoangkar, Japji is a commentary on on Ekoangkarm and the Siri Guru Granth Sahib is a commentary on Japji
Gurusansar Singh
01:39:58
I actually found a PDF version of that book. I can send it to you all.

Satmukh Singh
02:40:56
Is there a connection between the Raj Yoga held byGuru Ramdas and his meeting with Baba Siri Chand (Shakti meeting bakti)?
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
02:41:03
So then what you are saying - that the foundation for the entire path is established with GRD. That the combination of the first 3 gifts were manifested here and is now complete? This is complete and the other Gurus carry this unity forward?
Bachitar Kaur & Hari Krishan Singh
02:45:15
Raj Yoga is highest yoga. Haven’t previous three Guru’s practiced Raj Yoga?
WiseTibetanMonk
02:46:23
It seems that Baba Siri Chand realized what Guru Amar Das realized. When all hope is lost, we need to bow our heads and get on our knees and answers will come. This is one of the deepest yogic law of our existence.
Leila Chambers
02:49:31
GRD accomplished so much by age 40? I don’t know how he passed. Would you elaborate?
Gurusansar Singh
02:51:32
In a way, Raj Yoga is the Union with God of every single are of life. And Guru Ramdas had completed all the areas. The Yogis didn't accomplish the "householder path". The reference of Raj (King) is that a king, in order to rule a kingdom, ideally must learn about diplomacy, war, economy, social equality, arts, science, administration. No area of life must be neglected for the kingdom to prosper. The Raj Yog throne is the completion of all heavenly and earthly responsibilities. Later explained by the 6th Guru as Miri Piri.
DukhNiwaran Khalsa
02:52:22
Can you make that recording widely available to this group?
Sat Puran Livneh
02:52:38
where can we find a reference to the meeting between GRD and BSC?
Gurucharan Khalsa
