Our Slippery Rock Coalition is working with students and faculty on underage drinking initiatives

We work well with Penn State Altoona. Mainly presentations, mocktail events and handing out our information. We just recently had a town hall on marijuana and the college students were offered extra credit to attend and we had a great turn out

CHC, we collaborate with colleges and universities around heroin opiod. We host an annual event

The Council on Chemical Abuse serves on the Presidents Roundtable for Drug and Alcohol Use at Kutztown University. This is a long-standing collaboration.

We partner with local universities outreach events such as FASD, Overdose Awareness Day. LHU and Penn College

Pathway To Recovery. We work with Penn State Hazleton. We just participated in a wellness event and focused on vaping and marijuana use.

I ‘m part of Slippery Rock University’s Students for Non-Profit Leadership - have several initiatives we are currently working on: Anti-poverty Coalition activities, recovery activities such as creative and expressive arts programs in which university professors help teach courses (creative writing, drumming, mindfulness, etc.

I have to duck out a little early to attend another meeting. My colleague, Bryon Luke, will fill me in on what I miss. We have also been very busy this year and are back face-to-face in many schools.
