Hi Dr. Janisch

Are there any students who want to share an interviewing experience?

I’ve never had more strangers talk to me at the store or while running errands than I have here … love learning their back stories/lives and more about WV (I am from northern CA and people do not chat like that)

Please remember that we are requiring that everyone share video today

The only exception would be a true emergency or tech issue. We are doing this to ensure a truly collaborative and engaging session

One thing I have noticed and really enjoy about West Virginia is the wide range of accents. I went to undergrad at Concord and met a lot of people from Princeton and Beckley and their accents are different from people Charleston/Saint Albans. Then I worked with a lot of people from Boone county and Chapmanville, Man, Lincoln county and their accents are too much different and a lot thicker.

it's a lot like the difference between Southern WV and the Morgantown area. People in northern WV sound more like those from Pittsburg.
