Agree with Joan re: children. Also with Catherine. Militarism is impacting our LOCAL conversations re: justice and rights.

it looks like no one i know having access to the healthcare they want or even knowing their options!

01:35:19
Freedom whether to use masks or not. Real health begins with building immunity. There should be freedom of choice how one fights disease.

01:36:02
also watching community members not being able to save/have cushions for situations like covid = poverty, homeless, etc.

01:37:19
Also in Public schools, inequality yes. And here in the city, lack of Nature contact for the children whether public or private… Nature is needed for a humanistic education…
elizabethkelly
01:41:45
Exactly.

it seems that poverty is a very obvs proof that the trickle-down system doesn’t benefit us…..but will we ever change the system to something like 3 folding via typical channels of the existing political system?

It’s also “unintended consequences” of some well intentioned policies and solutions. We tend to not believe that we are vulnerable to the “Road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” One good example is the policy from the 60s of giving single family households a higher level of welfare, making it more possible to live if one spouse leaves, making many homes without solid parental support. It’s a symptom of our habit of looking at all problems to be solved by the government (wrong sphere in the threefold imagination) that are cultural, spiritual, or economic problems.

So, person to person, like Mutual Aid gives real solutions instead of “systemic” solutions that miss the mark and go south because they miss the heart forces in important ways and cause other problems.

what would we do without the agricultural workers RIGHT NOW their work makes it seem not that bad because I can still go to the store and buy food

There is the Spirit to consider as the central point of the support that is needed. There is the moment that is up to us to determine our role that moment and leave the rest to Spiritu guides.

2. The power of the work of publishing thoughts that help us all think in new ways. 3. The knowledge that everything is purposeful and the feeling that any symptoms of alienation, separateness is an illusion.
